We are 4 students in the second year of engineering school in ISTIA University of Angers. As part of this year's study, we have the chance to make a supervised project. "Move Your Robot" is a research project on an agricultural robot developed by the company NAIO Technology, the robot Little OZ. This project whose purpose is to participate at the contest "Move Your Robot" with 3 phase and organized by NAIO Technology.
First phase of the competition, the simulator aims to go to the robot Litlle Oz, the more quickly and accurately as possible, a set of simulated plots. For this, we need to program a customer can receive and send information to the simulator that works as a server. This part of the competition is made up of different levels on which the jury will test our program. However, for the development of this algorithm, the company NAIO Technologies, sent us the first 2 levels of the competition, the remaining levels have not been transmitted to us.
This phase of the competition aims to hoe as quickly and accurately as possible a set of land in Little OZ in real conditions. Programming hoeing robot mode is performed according to a pre-established strategy to achieve hoeing both accurate and fast. As ISTIA, our school had acquired a Little Oz robot, we could program the robot and test our programs under real conditions.
Last round of the competition, it is to create an innovative program that would surprise the competition jury. For this, we have a 100m² plot to evolve and interact the robot. During our study of the robot work, we found that the robot has the ability to send and receive SMS. We have developed an algorithm for the robot to receive an SMS containing precise information about a field and operate its information to hoe the plot.
The contest "Move Your Robot" is an inter-school national competition organized by the company that develops the Little OZ robot, NAIO Technology. This competition will take place in the city of Toulouse on 29 and 30 May. The day of the contest, we présentrons the algorithm that we developed and Litlle robot Oz will be available to us to show our way of hoeing the jury.
We are 4 students in second year of engineering school, ISTIA in Angers. During this year we have had the opportunity to work on the project MOVE YOUR ROBOT, for the preparation of a national robotics competition organized by the company NAIO Technology. This project aims to prepare the robot in order to participate and win this competition.
